Welcome new and returning families! We are excited about the 60th Anniversary of CHLL. Thank you for choosing to be a part of it.
Now that your registration is complete; don’t be alarmed if you don’t hear from a coach for a couple of weeks . We are gearing up for evaluations this coming weekend and next weekend. After evaluations, we do the draft to form Farm and above teams.
All players league age 7 and older, need to attend at least one evaluation session.
Evaluation Session #1 is at Madera Field. 01/20/2018
Players need to attend their assigned time slot for proper evaluation. WE WILL NOT BE DOING SIGN UPS AT EVULATIONS. We will be collecting league required documents ONLY so if you have not turned in your documents, you are welcome to bring them during evaluations.
Player Ages 7-8 Session Time is 1:00pm-2:30pm
We still have a lot of room for more players so let your neighbors and school friends know that they can still sign up and play. They should register no later than 01/25/2018. In order to be evaluated on 01/27/2018.
You will begin practices (weather permitting) around the 2nd week in February and things happen very quickly from there.
That second week in February, we kick things off with a Parent Meeting on Monday 02/12/2018 at Antelope Road Christian Fellowship Church 7951 Antelope Rd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610
Every player in the league will need to sell one box of candy (there is a contest for players that sell the most boxes so help the league raise money for equipment and sell more than one)
You will pick up your candy at Parent Night starting at 6:30pm. The Meeting will begin at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. This is an important meeting, especially if you are new to the league. It will last about 1 hour.
Once teams are formed, you will receive a call from a coach regarding practice times. Most teams will need an assistant coach or two, this is especially important in the younger groups. Every team will need a scorekeeper, and most teams will also need a Team Mom. The Manager and the Team Mom will be your contact with the league once teams are formed and they will be passing along information about events, times, etc. If you are willing to help out in either capacity, please let us know. It’s ok to share the responsibility with another parent on the team as well. Please make sure to also watch our league website www.citrusheightslittleleague.

Candy Money and any outstanding league registration fees will be due no later than 02/27/2018, that way your Team Manager can pick up your uniforms on 03/1/2018 so that everyone is ready for our big Opening Day on 03/03/2018 at Madera. You will have team pictures that day, a parade of players, carnival games, bounce houses etc. This is a really fun day with BBQ and awesome raffle prizes. You will receive more detailed information as these dates approach.
Games will begin 03/05/2018 but game schedules will not be available until the end of February. So don’t panic if you don’t receive them in the next couple of weeks.
